This and SMBZ were huge inspirations to me back in the day. Especially for when I was making sprite comics.
Lately, I've been wanting to up my game up. Thinking a sprite animation would be fun. And this news really makes me glad that Sonic animations aren't dead.

i'm actually surprised there's a post like this in 2017 (even though it's in january)
so many people have moved completely on from the sonic flash stuff, though it's amazing how such a community has not only become so large (your flash games are still on the first result page of highest scoring rpg games on this site, like god damn) but that they've garnered their own lot of nostalgic fans.
i know this is the part of the overall sonic fanbase that i'm overall proud of.
anyway whether or not you're still working on episode 9 i want you to know your community as a whole was a part of my childhood and i'm glad so many of you moved forward very successfully.

It's been a year now and I'm wondering if this is still gonna happen... Is it? I know animations take a long time, and especially full fledged games like this, but..... Well, take your time. I'm sure juggling a game and a family can't be easy, I just can't wait for the release!... (It is still coming, right? :V)
