...What?

Thats how i felt when it was over. I'm sorry man, but i couldn't follow a damn thing here, and i have seen your last part.

I'll start it off with this. The opening to the movie with the flashing images for about 1 minute almost made me turn it off. That was REALLY unbearable, and i had to look away a bit because yeah, it was hurting my eyes a bit. I dont know if you were trying to go for some subliminal message, or just trying to be fancy, or as i saw it, you were just trying to sync it with the music, but that was irritating.

Second, everything was jumping around, and i couldn't even follow the action. Its a bit hard when you are trying to read the text and there something happening on the screen. However the times i could follow the action, the scenes were very well choreographed. The guns, swords and weapons were great, the effects were good. You definitely have a knack for effects and what not.

Third, some of your characters were VERY hard to see. Specifically, the red guy.
His colors were red and black, with a red and black gun in a really dark background. I couldnt tell the head from its ass (lol). Its not really good to have dark characters fighting on dark backgrounds. Or using weapons the same color pallet as them.

Finally, your credits. I couldn't read a damn thing with that background flashing like that; switching between color burn, black and white and colored. Your text was going by way to fast and the text i did see was hard to read.

Overall, a very irritating flash. But what i did see, it was well executed. Just in the authors comments, put something like WARNING: MAY INDUCE SEIZURES, because you dont want to be liable for anyone catching a epileptic attack from your submission.

P.S. Would it kill you to get some voice actors? Because really, trying to read small text and watch the flash is irritating.

[The Great Mushroom Chase]

Honestly, I liked this one better then Psycosis'

This was was actually pretty funny and I prefer humor over senseless violence. This one showed the many different attempts to get the 1-up whereas the orther just seemed like an all out pursuit to destroy everything in his path, which by showing the original movie, was clearly not the case.

You kept the backgrounds, and the perception of distance very well. Most just tween everything at the same speed. Im glad you took the time and effort to polish it up. I loved the part when mario was in the hospital, and i liked how you changed the music to make it sound like it was coming through the speakers.

Also, the song is very catchy =)

I never seen a sprite movie by you, but if this was your first one, i must commend you for keeping Mario well, MARIO.

I didn't win, because the contest won't end for another month, and Psycosis is definitely going to get a higher place than me, lol

This is my eight sprite movie, not counting the ones I did for a collab. My first one's not on this site because it sucks, and my second one was later remade into a two-parter =)

I found it hilarious XD. I think Sonic transforming and shadows clapping to the beat was funny enough.

An atrocious end to what could have been great.

I found this one....very lame. A complete 180 to that of Sprite TV and Sprite TV 2. I'll admit, I have been monitoring Short-Factors parts to this collab, without looking at your Sprite Tv Collab thread, and his parts alone have got me pumped to see what you guys had install for this one, and I'm sad to say that his and HadoukenDude's parts, are really the only thing that kept me watching throughout the rest.

The fact that this collab was 90% old memes, disappointed me more, because like i said, i expected fresh content. Even some of the stuff that WAS Original, had no humor at all, and i thought thats what randomness was all about, humor. I liked the fact of continuity throughout the last one and this one with Carl, but some need to let old skits die.

Whoever did the Master Chief skits, should have stopped at the first one. The overuse of two grunts screwin eachother and MC curiosity was enough to get a few laughs out of me the first time. The second and especially the third wasnt needed, and killed it.

However, i will say this, you guys sure know how to animate. Im glad to see that all the sprites, and animation was smooth, and i liked playing with that nifty preloader, however when im expecting something to be funny, like its predecessors, animation is not what i was expecting. Good Job to whoever built the pre-loader.

Overall, i was originally going to give this a 5/10, but due to the fact i saw Short's easter egg, it bumped your points up by 1, making it...

P.S. Fans demanding to make a 4th should not influence you to continue this series. If your going to continue it, get some new people, keep the STRONG ones, get some original jokes, stop using old memes, and stop using stuff like LOLPWND and OMFG COCKJOKE. Those are lame as it is IMO. Honestly, jokes like those, and stupid DBZ type fights are the reason why sprites are declining in popularity, because the lack of originality. Until you do some of these, dont make a 4th.

[Sonic & the 16bit world 4]

Too loud.

First off. I think your wrong. I think you have a stray stop action command in your credits, because it stopped for me, and all i did was right click, and play and it went through just fine.

Second, Why did it end like that? Sonic just talking and then cut to credits. That was very sloppily done, as i didn't even get to READ the entire subtitle.

Third, you over used that high pitched DBZ sound effect WAY too many times, to the point i was going to shut it off. I mean, really, if your going to go and use DBZ sounds, i KNOW there are more in the pack then just those couple of sound effects.

Fourth, all of your voices were low and scratchy. I had to turn it up to hear what they were saying, then got bombarded with a bunch of loud sound effects. Also you had knuckles V.A scream some of his lines which was also irritating. Keep the volumes of your sounds consistent.

However through all that unbearable complaints, i still made it through to the end. I'll admit, this is the first one of your series i've seen. The whole concept of fighting recolors i thought was hilarious. I personally hate it when people take sprites and just edit them slightly and apply some recolors to them and call it their own. Taking a move set from a char is one thing, but stealing the design and making it a different color is another. However, Mephalies has already been explained why hes in that form. Hes not just a recolor. I like the fact that you pointed out that it was just a Mega man BG. Yes it was from MMX1. I could recognize that lvl anywhere.

All in all, I have to say that you could probably do better. Stop using so much DBZ sound effects, as a majority of people over use them. Get some new ones. Check your movie out for any stray AS commans, and take the time to go over the voice quality, and the volume of your sound effects.

Finish it first.

Never submit half projects. If you want a beta tester, go get one, but this is what the alphas are for.

Anyways, its ok. I can clearly see that the menu music is taking up all the filesize in the flash, so you need to do something about that.

I don't know why, but ive always hated that lvl in sonic advance. The background is too irritating. Oh Well its ok i guess.

But finish it.

Ha....that was entertaining.

I thought you might've died. But it seems you're still doing flash after all.

Everything ran smooth, and crisp, but ya know i cant help thinking that this looked alot like Chaos. No matter, its still good. The movement, the tweening and all that good stuff was on point.

The one thing that urked me was sonics voice. But if Yoshi-1up did ALL of the vocies then kudos. He does a good eggman.

That sonic boom joke at the end was so corny i had to laugh. XD

You know normally i wouldnt do this considering...

I tend to ignore stupid-ass reviews for my flash movies, but i had to watch your stuff and lol at your pitiful review.

Now let see. You claim you have so much experience with flash and sprites, yet you come out with this movie? No im sorry but i have taught people how to do flash and have produced more quality in 4 months then in your 3 years of experience.

Aside from that rant, this movie, was everything i WOULDN'T do now. Your sound quality, is horrendous. So many years with flash exp and sprite movies, you should know the standard of movies. The characters just stand there and take a beating. Crappy choice in music, barely audible sound effects, and horrible move execution. Also the movie was WAY to short for a file your size, which brings me to believe that your MENU took up all that room, (which wasn't even that great).

Despite all that im still giving you a 4 because i dont give 0 for stupid ass reasons, despite being told that im an "embarrassment to the the sprite community"

I look forward to reviewing your progress >=)
